Background
Our mission as a company is to professionalize fusion dance forms and leverage dance as a form of communication.
The premise of this is to tell stories, communicate emotions, and create calls to action for artists, brands, and events from our dance pieces.
Let’s take an example:
You are a brick-and-mortar, New York-based small business selling street food that is inspired by your Founder’s roots in Bangladesh. Because you’re based in New York and want to appeal to a larger audience, you offer fusion-style food using ingredients that are familiar to the average NYC-based American but fusing these with spices and flavors from Bangladesh.
In today’s world of video content prevailing as the preferred media for consumers to engage with, you’re struggling to share this story with your audience and create meaningful advertisements that tell your story.
Enter: Kinetics Dance Crew.
We turn an overwhelming, culturally heavy industry into a consolidated, simple experience.
Focus on your craft. Let us tell your story.
Value Proposition
Our ideal client is a business or artist in the South Asian American space. The simple description of this ideal client points to the concept of “fusion”. We are balancing multiple identities at once, trying to create space for ourselves, and trying to succeed as a community.
However, this South Asian American community in the United States still has a major gap. We are distributed. There are many different sub-identities among us. Very few businesses exist which aim to consolidate and simplify the message to a larger audience.
For example:
You are a South Asian American rapper who wants to create a music video to your latest work. Great! There are plenty of dancers, choreographers, videographers, etc who you or your team can reach out to. But it’s overwhelming and distributed. Which choreographer? How many dancers? How do we choose the dancers, or is that up to the choreographer? Which videographer will understand my vision? How do I choose a location? Do I need to sign separate contracts with each vendor for a single music video? Do these vendors even sign formal contracts? Do I negotiate?
Historically, our communities have been seen as one to do things “under the table” or “based on relationships”. With this, we’re limiting our own success. It’s about time we centralized, professionalized, and simplified access to resources. In order to claim success for our communities, we must professionalize our operations.
With Kinetics Dance Crew, you don’t need to worry about any of that. Your journey starts with an email. Reach out to us, and we’ll engage with you and your team directly. We’ll collaborate based on the story you want to tell, the audience you want to reach, and your desired budget. In one contract, with one single rate, you will receive AT LEAST all of the following, if not more:
Consultation on the storyline you wish to get across and the audience you wish to reach
Full end-to-end choreography
A team of professional, communicative dancers who work well together and will portray a consolidated image
Costumes and fashion design consulting for all involved parties
Video, editing, and set options based on your desired image and budget
A clear project outline and timeline, with quick deliverables
Once the project is complete, a follow up consultation to measure success and ensure that your desired outcome has been met
